As envisioned in the Comprehensive Development Authority 2031, the area under the jurisdiction of the Brahmapur Development Authority was zoned into three. The zones were Administration hub with Chatrapur as focal point, Tourism hub with Gopalpur as the nucleus and Commercial hub with Brahmapur as the facilitator. Inorder to provide greater connectivity between the three, bus terminals were proposed. The three terminals were constructed in a time bound manner and is readying for a full-fledged operation.
The BDA was successful in the formation of a SPV – Ganjam Urban Transport Service Ltd (GUTSL). for the operation and maintenance of modern bus terminal, Haladia Padara, Brahmapur.
